ISSUE

there really isn't a wrong way to install the axle, I ran mine that way also to drop the wheel quicker but after installing longer shocks my pipe hit the end of the axle so I turned it back around.

heres a recent shot with the fxdxt shocks on, sold the works until I order a set of the works pro piggy backs or race tech G3-S piggy backs

07bobber do u feel the bike handles any differently with the longer shocks? Does it still feel stable at hwy speeds with the rear riding so much higher than stock?

yeah I feel a difference, dips into the turns better, rides great on the freeway with the extra travel...not as good as works, race tech or ohlins but they are way better than stock fxdb shocks...

Dude. Your bike is cool.

Longer shocks raise the tail, and as a result, reduce rake = quicker steering. It's an excellent mod for those looking for better handling. A bonus is better ground clearance.
