Nope ...put the axle in from primary side and it doesn't interfere with the pipes ...of course those pipes are shorter than most ...

I too installed my axle like that so I wouldn't have to remove the exhaust just to change a tire.

Do you torque it with an adjustable too? I know that's why people do it, it's not my first day. But on his bike the exhaust isn't even close. I'm just saying it's not how it's supposed to go and just looks wrong, especially when there's no reason. Usually that's a good sign of lazy hack or rookie. 90% of the time if the exhaust is in the way you can just pull 2 shock bolts quick and move the swingarm to where the axle will pass it.

The only thing that trips me up is the noise. I've read from other posts that it's really loud. Do you know if Bassani make a quiet baffle for it?

Also, how much "leg" clearance to you have? I assume since the headers are side by side instead of stacked, they stick out horizontally more. Which could lead to a really hot right calf in my case.
As you might of seen in another thread, I've been on the fence about this pipe for a while... Which I think I'm going to end up with.

I spoke with Kurt at Bassani and brought up the baffle question, they do make a quiet baffle for it. The issue is as of right now it's not a stocked item with part #. So you can't just order it anywhere.

He said if it's something you're interested in, mention it at purchase so before the pipes are boxed up they can toss in the appropriate baffle.

Or for extra, you can get both baffles with the pipe and pick your poison.

I told him it was something that's commonly mentioned on the forums and they were looking into making them available to order seperately.

That was a few months ago... they might be available now.
