It's also a daily rider so I don't want a race motor or a show bike, I love stock paint and try to use as many Stock Harley parts as possible or Parts made in the era of the bike.
I did a 95CI big bore, 211 Cam, 96CI heads, split the cases and crank, new bearings, gaskets, the lot. engine was generally really solid considering it had never been apart before this year.
New regulator and coil.
Ohlin's rear shocks are 14.25Inches, matched with new 2004 FXDX Forks.
Went the twin CVO touring caliper way with new rotors all round.
Sputhe to make this bike actually handle.
TBR 2 into 1 is going once my Thunderheader arrives.
Fresh tires
New bar and risers
530 chain conversion,
loads more probably I've just forgotten.

HPI Review
Looks good Squid. Figure Machine makes some nice stuff. I experimented with the DK breather bolts as well and felt the same way, they made a mess. Sold them along with my Alloy Art air cleaner. Picked up a Horsepower Inc V2 air cleaner with internal velocity stack to match up with my HPI 55mm intake. It got good reviews from the guys at San Diego Customs and they have used them on several of their builds. I've been gathering parts slowly over the winter months here in NY and bike is on its way to the shop next week for tear down, bunch of changes on the way.

Hi from Canada. Hoping you might still be around on here. I am wondering what you thought of the HPI TB. Is it worth the price in your opinion? I ordered one, but its the straight 55 manifold not the 58, for my HC ported 103 TC and have the 5.3 injectors to install as well.
Threads been on life support lately. Maybe everyone who’s posted before needs to just post again so we can see more bikes. Although probably 50% of the ones from the first few hundred pages don’t even have em anymore. I’ve been through like 8 bikes since my first post. So, here’s more of my current and some old ones I had.
And yes. They all look the same because once I find something I like I just do it again and again and again. Secret to a long lasting marriage too lol.

The one on my current bike is an amazon knock off Laminar and it's trash. Flimsy and the velcro pads are junk. It works just fine as far as redirecting wind blast it's just low quality. I had a real Laminar on my last bike and it was great. Sturdy, fit perfect, used 3M velcro pads that were super strong. I had an amazon credit so I used it for the knock off lip this time but won't do that again. Also mess with the angle of the fairing, that helps quite a bit. I run mine all the way forward and get just a little blast on the top of my helmet.

I like the history post, so here's my short history...
Not a Dyna but did my best in pretending it is one...

One of my bucket list bikes. Don't see this one going anywhere while I'm around.
Attachment 613883
I really miss this one...
Attachment 613884
And the bucket that started it all...
