Thankfully no damage to the bike. And in case anyone wondering the OE bearings are only $25. Not as bad as I thought it'd be. Figured it'd be at least a "Hundred Dollars" (HD). LOL

Biggest thing for me was I had one on my old bike and I loved it...I came across this one on ebay, new in box, never installed for half of what they retail for, so I couldn't pass it up. The Bassani lives on now on a friend's bike, he digs it.

The couple things I wasn't a fan of with the bassani were the bracket hitting the swing arm (they say it's only designed for stock height suspension, I have 13.5" Ohlins, so not stock...) and honestly, the sound. I just never fell in love with the exhaust note, especially the sound on decel...to me just always seemed too tinny, hollow-sounding is the best I could describe it...other than that I never had any quality issues and it certainly looked great on the bike. As far as the discs, I just put the whole stack on, figured I could always subtract some out if I didn't like the feeling but so far it feels good, butt-dyno tells me the powerband feels a bit smoother, and that it gained a little pep in its step...

Anyway, on a side note, took a bit of time off work due to my grandfather's surgery, had a couple days to get some seat time in. Took the fairing off until I have it painted, hopefully soon...also had a new Commander 2 put on the back since I managed to roast the last one in 6k miles...personally I dig the look of dynas with t-bars and no fairing when done properly, of course I may be a bit biased...

Changed intake seals - much better now.
Choosing between Royal-T and Sawicki speed pipe..
I think I'll sell sawicki & try to trade Royal-T for red thunder or Fab 28. Royal T is excellent pipe, but too loud for me

Who pissed in your coffee this morning? Here’s a solid fact for ya. The club style dynas were around a LONG time before that shitty *** tv came around. Where the hell do ya think they got the idea from? Another fact for ya since you seem pretty clueless. The club style bikes ARE actually set up to ride. Not for looks. They are some of the best handling Harleys around. Go back pouting in a corner
