The raddest softail on the planet might be Chris Villone's... here's his IG: https://www.instagram.com/villonetattoos/
how the?? What the?!!

i had to look twice before I realized he put normal shocks on a Softail. No way those struts are carrying the load without some hidden structure. Is there a write-up in this bike somewhere?

by the way, a Route 66 HD in Tulsa I saw this bike. Does it belong to someone here?

I've seen at least 2 like that here in town. Bone stock FXDLS + bars + exhaust + HD quarter fairing. I think one of the managers of the other Harley dealer rides one of them. There's a few clubbed out FXDBs and maybe a couple of FXRs. The style isn't really that popular here, then again neither are Dynas for the most part other than wide glides. It's mostly sportsters, baggers, and bar hopper soft tails around here.

Trying to add some contrast to the all black fairing. Cant decide if I like the red or silver dual pin stripe. The silver matches the HD logo on the tank. The red matches... nothing but looks cool IMO. Thoughts?

I just kinda threw the pin stripe tape on there quickly. I have a ton of it so I'll be re doing it and making it perfectly straight when I decide which one I want to go with.

I love the red.
I just did almost exactly the same thing: I had grey pinstripe flames 'cause it matched the tank logo. I just had them redone in red and it's way better.
I'll get some pics up soon, but I think you're on the right track.

Definitely the red....it picks up the red stripes in the flag.....looks balanced.
The red also accentuates the smoke headlight.....the headlight is more of a focal point with the red stripes

Sleek bike, nice!

Are your pipes/covers new or have you re finished them. ? My flat black VH Long Shots need a little refresh so I am researching best way to re finish.....since they are covers, powdercoating may be ok

Both look good but I prefer the silver, simple touch but not too out there, just IMO.
