Some good bikes showed up in the thread. Whether you like the "style" or not, a lot can be learned about how to make a Harley fast, ridable, and dependable from people who know.

haha how bout this for thug...
i rode down to the high bars & low cars show put on by the san fernando valley charter red & white. with a few friends and the ventura members with alot of people i met...
this is us on the way home stopped at a green light hahahah....
but yeah out here in arizona now going to motorcyle mechanics institute
having fun
in ventura we make our bike to stand them up
nice and stiff (thats what she said)
ride them hard and have alot of fun thats the point
where im from the streets might as well be paved red and white
thats why i wanted a dyna was because of the influence around
and to learn to ride a one wheel stand on an 800 pound bike
with a 145 lbs m**** F**** on the seat hahaha
idk thats my input
and p.s yeah
make a bike yours but if your ripping off a style
thats already been made world renound
and made renound by the hells angles and famous by soa
(my bike is featured in season one with the previos owner in the saddle as an extra when it was black with stock tank)

So when you read the write up on the FXR which I think is pretty cool once you 'get past' the X-Wedge (which I do not like either ... as long as I ignore its performance!) ... it says the frame is stretched 2" ... and that it is supposed to be an economical alternative vice starting with a custom frame ... like stretching a frame 2" is not gonna cost megabucks ...???
Also a little confused as it says the swing arm is 2" longer ... is the stretch just the swing arm or is it 4" longer overall ... I'd think it would be both, since it looks to me like the X-Wedge is longer fore-and-aft ....

The bike I was trying to find on the Hot Bike website was a denim black Street Bob owned by Rich Andaya of Oxnard CA ... got black fender struts, shocks, front fork legs, triple trees, rocker boxes, 9-1/2" risers, V-Rod fairing, etc., etc. .... on p.120 of the print mag ....
