I had some time to kill at lunch and actually watched this full video of them John explaining the updates. Everything sounds like they're vastly improved. I know Leather Pros are are or were the best option but it looks like Conely's has stepped up their game to compete.
Never tried them but I was there that night Jerry at the Dyna Vlog filmed this video. John (Conely) showed me the ins and outs of the bag while I was out there for a few hours hanging out. It's a really well designed quality bag. Not in my budget at this time, but def on the radar in the future.

Whats up everyone I've been lurking on this thread for a while now and figured now that I've picked up a new to me 13 FXDBP I'd post a couple progress pics. Picked this 13 up for a sweet deal unfortunately it came with the drag bars from the factory. I order a set of lucky saves lucky 13 bars at 13" height and they've been back ordered for what feels like a life time. I already picked up the HD 1/4 faring tossed on a bassani road rage II onto it and a fp3 . Has anyone order the bars from lucky saves recently? If so how long was the back order? Everything is here to turn the bike into a true club style fcdb just need that last piece.

Hey all, Long time lurker here but just picked up my 13 FXDB, going for the club/thug style. Ive got most of the parts I need to make it happen. Just waiting on the Lucky Daves bars that have been back ordered for what feels like a lifetime. The bike came with the factory red rims and drag bars, i wasn't a huge fan of the bars so ordered up some midnight black stainless cables and brakelines. Bike also came with stock forward controls which means the primary cover doesn't have the holes for mid controls. Is there any solution to getting a set of just mid pegs for being able to change my foot position on longer rides or am i going to be stuck looking for a new primary cover if I want to go that route. Hopefully ill be able to post up a few more progress pics once I get the 1/4 faring color matched and the bars on.

Buddys maintance wasn't the most dialled in but a quick clean and new exhaust cleaned that right up.

Page 4?? Don't you die on me....lol...

Good weekend, got my shifter issues sorted out, traded my Progressive shocks for a set of Ohlins...

I'm happy with them. They're the height I wanted originally and I feel like the silver/black goes better with the bike than the bronze did...

Bonus booty shot:

Did you not like the way the Progressives rode, or they just didn't give you the height you were looking for? Shocks are my next project and I'm trying to decide what to pony my $$ up for. I'm pretty light compared to a majority of riders out there and never ride 2-up.

What size are the Ohlins DK? Are you still running the Bung King thingy?

I have some 13.5" FXDX take-offs. They're used but in good shape. I bought them planning to run them but found a deal on some works.

They were nice shocks, I just wanted the height really. The progressives were 12.5 and I was running the bung king shock lift blocks to lift it up a bit, didn't like how everything went together. Just a personal thing. That and the bronze didn't really go with the "theme" of the bike.

Bung King lift blocks are off, I haven't measured them but I believe they are 13.5", or in that area...

Thank you, the Works trackers were actually the other ones I was considering. How do you like yours?

I quite like them. Almost want to go 13.75, maybe 14... but then I'd have a hard time touching.

But you should still buy these others from me.
