similar, but different in a few ways. The main difference is that for a Frisco, the headlight is mounted higher so that the fairing can be run much higher.

I also believe that a Frisco has more variety in bar styles. Most club style have either t-bars or tall risers/bars. For Frisco's, I've seen T-bars, but also narrow apes and z-bars as well.

I'm sure others will have more input than I have.

Don't the 'Frisco' bikes have the front of the gas tank lifted and the 'petcock' moved to the very back of the tank ?...b.

I don't really think it's a different style it's just a name they put with the style of bike from that area. It's like a St. Louis style chopper. It's just a derake frame. Frisco style is usually put with how a tank is mounted, usually not much of a tank tunnel and high up with the filler mounted high as well.

To my limited knowledge, Frisco style bikes have high mid-mounted pegs as well.

Yeah I've seen that. The thought has crossed my mind about getting a set of high mids. Sometimes while on longer rides I'll set my foot on top of my primary. It's a pretty comfy position at least for me.

To me, it looks like you'd have to be a swami to be comfortable in that position, but hey if it works for you.

No. They're mini floorboards in lieu of pegs in the stock location.

Long time lurker...Figured i would post my work in progress. I just put a set of Ohlins on the rear. I am running RaceTechs in the front. HD fairing and sportster bars with some cheap risers from JP cycles. Stock 88 motor with a Bassani RR2 and a Mikuni. Really comfortable setup.
