Anywho, friend of mine gave me a sick deal on a set of Progressive 970's - my first set of non-stock shocks, holy crap what a difference...reversed the reservoirs on both sides so I can run bags at some point...

Next on the list is a tune, paint match the fairing, then wear out these scorchers so I can get a decent set of tires...
Enough with the performance upgrades...Need more stickers! Used to seeing your bike with way more.

Shocks look great though, trying to get some Works out of a raffle, if that doesn't work might end up trying out the drag specialties or hagon 2810's

You've made some really wise choices for your upgrades. Great job DK!

Haha I know, she's very lacking in the sticker department...I need to get another "Bye Felicia" sticker made for the swing arm.

I've heard only good things about the drag adjustable shocks - those are what I was originally looking at, but these 970's basically fell into my hands. Can't go wrong with the Hagon's either though...

Question for you guys: like Dyna Kid, I've never owned anything but stock shocks. However, my stock ones are the adjustable FXDX shocks. (and adjustable front end)
Anyone know how mine rate versus a set of "decent" shocks?
Would there still be as big a difference?

If you get your stock FXDX shocks adjusted properly, they're as good or better than some of her basic Hagon's or Progressives. I think the issue is they're 13-17 year old bikes so it's hard to find a set that's in good condition or not blown out.
