I think if I do anything I may take my warning light strip out of my headlight brow and buy a used gauge mount and trim off the gauge pods and just mount my warning lights to my top clamp. With the handlebar bag I've got it kinda blocks the view of the lights and I'd maybe light to know if my oil pressure drops and turns the light on so I can pull over and shut it down.
Because it moves EVRRYTHING up. Neutral, signal indicator, speedo, tach. When you're going 90+ Between cars you don't really want to look down.
That's why this works for me. Clean above the bars, but high enough to see that you're speeding.

You could mount them below the "top" (but maybe close to the top) on your side of the bars
