Still a work in progress. Awaiting Works suspension next. Soon to follow is a fairing. Like someone mentioned earlier its customization and function vs looks...and I don't like the function of a tall fairing but love the looks. That said, it's mine and I'm modifying a Low Rider S take off I rode with that provided just the right wind protection off the chest without buffeting crap I don't want to deal with. So it's function. Just like my bars, function for the right reach, not all looks. The issue

How much difference did they make to the ride? I would think it would help the handling to balance the bike out more.

SLR - I ran the BK shock riser kit on a 2010 FXDC with stock shocks. It lifted the back of the bike up slightly and sort of helped with peg scraping. BUT an unintended consequence that I didn't notice until it was too late was that the shock angle was changed ever so slightly and caused my shock to rub my LPro FXDXT bag resulting in a quarter sized hole in the bottom of my bag. Just keep that in mind if you want to run bags at some point.

You ever try and mess with the discoloration/rust you were noticing on the pipes?

Had it washed and waxed at work, since I can't be bothered to do it. Not bad for $15...

What!?! I thought you were out there doing it. We have a guy at the office, but I haven't let him touch my bike yet, but I should. Hell, I didn't even take it in for the recall. I've have a tough time with separation anxiety I guess.
