Mine isn't mellow at idle
My neighbors hate my bike. I try to putt out to the main street. My wife did an iPhone recording of me trying to sneak out to the main drag. Bassani be fuggin' loud.
Yeah, To me it's mellow, but to my neighbors.... They hate it! I guess I say it's mellow, because as a kid, the guy up the street had an old pan head with straight pipes.... That this sounded like a top fuel dragster when he fired it up... I guess anything with baffles will sound "mellow" at idle.
Haha, I didn't realize how loud it was until a friend took a test ride around the block with mine. Now every morning (6-7am) when I start it up, I smile then instantly look around cautiously like I ripped *** in a library.
LOL I'm with you Shaun. I have the TBR and even though it's a nice sounding rumble when not gett'n on it. My neighbor and I don't get a long, so I like to give it a couple nice long twist's of the throttle when I get home late at night or leave early in the morning . I smile to myself thinking F you mother F*****R!
Just got Andreani cartridges up front, along with wrinkle black powdercoat while the forks were apart, along with Ohlins in the back and a Bassani pipe to replace the short shots that were on there when I bought it, which I hated.
I wasn't sure if the lower bolt of the shock would clear the bumper when I went taller, but looks like it does- just barely.
I have the same Bassani RR2 on my Street Bob, and held off on longer shocks because of clearance concerns. On my bike, it looks like the lower shock bolt would definitely hit the exhaust as the suspension moved up and down.
Would you have a photo taken from the rear of the bike?
Been MIA for awhile. Honestly don't know if I've changed anything on the bike since I last posted, but anyways, cleaned her up today and snapped a few pictures

What light bar do you use, and was it difficult to install/hook up?

I can take one later for you and DM it if I remember. Someone else posted that their 13.5 Hagons (I think?) hit but only when there's no weight on it, so these are probably about the cutoff to what you can get away with at 13 3/8". But if it doesn't hit with only the weight of the bike on it, it isn't gonna hit when you are on it. I'm pretty sure I've jumped this thing and that bolt hasn't hit the exhaust. As long as you aren't running some weirdly tall back tire I think you'd be fine.
edit: that's all true if you're running the mega power pipe. I'm think the road rage 2 is different, so if you're running the one that goes all the way to the axle bolt on the swingarm then I have no idea.
