Weather turned out great. We were supposed to do this last Saturday but it was raining and snowing up at elevation. The overlook we're at is over 9000'. And today's high in the valley at 4200' is 55° and some rain. Good days are fewer from here through spring in Utah.

Yeah, there were a few signs of it changing though. It should be pretty colorful in the next few weeks.

Thanks man! It turned out better than I thought it would too. I haven't decided yet. I kind of like having the tank as the focal point. I need to get the fairing back on to see though since it's on it most of the time.

Lots of mods over the last six months... Mags / tires, shocks, full fender & integrated tail light, some powder coated trim pieces, Power Vision, Daymaker knock off, Leather Pros FXDXT bags, and just this past weekend, added the strut covers. The Bassani has been nice, but I can't seem to shake the constant interest in the SPF pipe. I know I have seen a couple people with the short SPF & LP bags, but I can't seem to find any write ups on any heat issues with the shorter pipe. Anyone?

Your bike but I'd keep what ya got. Motor work + longer pipe = mo better.
I'm going to make everyone sorry they didn't get a Bub 5150 pipe. 😝

Yeah, I was thinking that way as well. Motor work won't start until next year... Still looking at options right now. You know how it is... You get it where you think you want it, and then you start looking at all new things you want to do.
