Hmm.. Might be interested depending on price, shield height(as you stated you've cut down one), and shipped...
Figured I'd post my beauty finally. 2007 FXDB purchased in April '16 for $6k with just under 6kmiles. Brought her home, started riding and tweaking her to how I ride. Swapped out the wide 16" apes for 14" MXT bars from Lucky Daves, hence the length on the cables still. Installed LeatherPros TSport bags. Installed Harley tall quick detach sissy, for my girl. Took the stock muffler and beat out the plug, but then while riding out from a bike night the muffler ends slipped off, so needed a replacement. Found a used Bassani RoadRage 2 for $300 shipped, and installed.

Nice transformation!
How's the fitment of the LP hardware against those strut covers? I have LP bags, and am currently waiting for a set ov strut covers to come in. I was concerned that the inner (larger spacer) wouldn't fit in the dimple for the mounting hardware.

Plus soon I'll have the AlloyArt strut LED turn signals to install, so I can get rid of the large turns. Also can't do integrated taillight in VA for inspections... Lame!

Regarding buffeting, wobble ..I advise anyone who has asked, that seat height, bar height, shield Height are hand in hand , not separate issues... Get seat height/ comfort set.. Then attack bar height, shield height . I suffered personally from both buffeting, but worse -wobble... Steering damper , true track font and rear, SDC fork brace - wobble slayed.... Shield height- I'm 6'2 run a Corbin gunfighter , have had every shield height known... Severe cutdown, 14" , 16" , 18" ... Buffeting with a short shield is insane!... once I settled on Corbin, and bar height.. West coast T's 12, the shield was obvious.. 16".. Zero buffeting, zero wobble.. Bike is a runner... No buffeting, no wobble , 90+ all day, Simpson, Bell, doesn't matter...bike was scary unstable stock when purchased... Super solid beast now.. Homework.. This thread

Your bike is one of the inspirations on this thread, just sayin'. How's the SEC fairing working out? It's on my list to get if I go the club route.
You know I'm painting my tins this weekend. Blue is one of my options that I'm leaning towards, but I'm having trouble with that after I copied your white tins on the WG.
thank a lot. Fairing is working great. No buffeting. Takes the pressure off my chest. I rock a full face so this set up works great for me
