Smile Arlen Ness 15" rotor kit + Rotor

Hello to you all,

Does anyone have experience with the "Arlen Ness 15" rotor kit"

Does is really give the extra brake power? I'm planning to upgrade to the 15" brake kit because I want some extra stopping power. I want to keep the single brake rotor, because I like the clean look on the right side of the wheel.

Does anyone know if there is a other company that makes dark rotors like Lyndall?

Thank

Hey Tom. I've got the Arlen Ness 15" rotor. I think it's totally worth the price and greatly improves braking power. I can easily single-finger stop my bike with it. I've read several reviews of late where people rave about it, also.

Hey Brent, made up my mind, gonna order a set. thanks for your reply.

Other question: Did anybody install a HD touring brake caliper (2016) on there bike. I'f read that the combo Arlen Ness 15" with an Touring brake caliper give's you some more brake power.

The reason I'm asking, parts don't come cheap here, we have to pay a extra 21% tax down here in Holland, so I'm very careful with what I order.

Thanks

If I was gonna do it, I'd order a Performance Machine six piston caliper as well. Between that and the rotor, that bike would stop quick!

08-later Touring Brembos weren't really designed for 06-later Dynas. Those Cals have an extra .150" figured into their brake pad location (radius wise) (although people have used them). This holds True whether or not you're using Ness Big Brake

Did you compare it to regular rotor + Tokico? I have both Tokico front and rear and while front was big improvement rear didn't impress me that much

I have been reading a lot, for my question you get a 100 answers. The Tokico caliper is also a option, but I like the look of the 15" rotor.

Choices choices & choices, I can only spend the money once, what to do

Thank you for mentioning the Tokico option.

Ive been wanting to do the 15" rotor as well. The bike stops well, but I want to be able to effieciently stop with my index and middle finger.
