Decided to try a fork oil change today...I'd say it was due. Hell, I'd be amazed if it had ever been changed...

Feels much better, front end is no longer bottoming out at braking, and the front tire likes to come off the ground a bit more...

Can't decide if I like it without the fairing...would have to put the stock headlight block on...

I'm not sure I've ever seen fork oil that dirty before. I'm surprised it was coming out of the seals. I bet you saved yourself some new seals in your near future.

Sorry if the term I use is incorrect for this site, as there are so many names people give this type setup, Thug Style, Club Style, Outlaw style, Hooligan, etc. I am hoping maybe this site has some members that have a bike that I can draw inspiration from, by posting pictures.

I am not referring to the style that is somewhat poorly done on that SOA show on TV.

Anyway, I can mostly find pictures on Japan sites, but it seems the bulk of great modified bikes of this style are 2005 and older Dyna's.

Anyone have a 2006+ bike done up. Something like this:
Here is my 2007 FXDC. I still have the suspension to do so I will post final pics soon.

I haven't done anything ground breaking, just following a recipe with a few little changes to make it fit my riding habits a little more. Only a few small things left to do...
