Keep the bike. You got to trailer the boat to the lake and then you ride in circles all day. I personally would rent a boat a few times during the summer you get on the lakes a few times with out having another monthly payment
If your wife wants a encourage her to get a fu..ing job and buy one. My first wife got mad at me for spending my tax returns on a set of craftsman tools. I still have the tools. My second wife is a keeper. I came home and told her that I put $2,000. on a new Wide Glide because I needed it. I had a '85 FXR and a '57 FL and she said that's fine. I'd keep the bike and let your wife get bent out of shape about it.
Keep the bike and rent a boat. A boat is a hole in the water you throw money into. Seriously, I had a boat when I lived in Jacksonville, Fla. Maybe used the thing a total of 10 times during the summer. Only time I could use it was when the weather was good and on the weekends. It was a real chore hooking the trailer to the car, taking it to ramp, unloading the thing and then loading it back up. You have to take the damn thing to a boat mechanic if something goes wrong with the motor and the maintaineace is not cheap. Sold the thing and have'nt wanted one since.
