Not at all. Take the factory bracket off...you see the slotted parts? I cut one out, bent it 90 degrees, rounded the edges, painted it and bolted it up. I made a few and they take me literally 30 minutes from start to bolting it on (allowing a bit of a time for paint to dry)


If you have a dremel tool, you can do it. Even if you don't...you can use some high dollar shears and do it as well.

'09 Road King fender. Street Glide lay down tail light. '08 Fat Boy 6.5 wheel with 200mm Dunlop. Took some machine work and build is still in process.
