Bumping this to put it right above Kenward's post about doing the exact opposite

When I bought my bike the first thing I said is those bars will have to go!!! Then I rode it with them and said hey these aren't so bad. I gave them a good couple month trial period before I swapped them out, they were very comfortable. I like the T BAR look better- just my opinion. As long as they are comfortable I will keep them.

I like the looks even....particularly on a wide glide or softie standard or custom. Just fits the lines of the bike. But comfort is first and foremost for me.

What came on the bike? I thought they would have been HD mini apes. The reason I ask is that I'm about to replace my Superglide Buckhorns with some bars a buddy gave me. He said they were the stock mini apes off of a wide glide. I'm just trying to figure out what I've got, and how it will look and fit.

Looks good.

Look real good (and comfortable)! Which bars did you previously have on?

Also, agree with an earlier post that a 12" ape would look pretty cool and probably be a good fit as well.
