Nice numbers for the work done. Bobby Wood is the guru of cams, he probably has more knowledge of V-twin engines in a fingernail clipping than I do in my entirety.
i was looking at both of these cams for my bike... did you put the +4 advance key on also? i talked to woods and he said he recommended the tw408-44 with the +4 very much ....

Yes to the +4... I think it needs more compression then stock (Bob said it didn't) with the +4.. Dont get me wrong on the cam it will ****** your hands off the bars. 90 in 4th gear plus 100 in 5th an 6 gear is for sure a gear now....Not sure what Im doing. Im going to put the 54H in this weekend an see how it runs.. Im on the fence about just going to a 107 with the woods at 10.4 are using the 54 an going to a safe 10.1,, Not sure what the top speed is lost my ***** at 105 LOL
What are you using for fuel management? If you dont mind me asking what did the cams set you back?
Cheers,
Tom
Power commander V... cams retail for 450.00 an the gear is 125.00 if bought with the cam 100.00 selling the 408s in the classifieds.. going to build with the 54s...
