Default I want more headlight for my Wide Glide

I got spoiled with the headlight on my 08 RK, it lights up the road a LOT better than my 99 FXDWG... I have considered a whole new lamp, actually bought one and it wasn't a good fit (needed a mount) and I got turned off on the idea. I would be happy just upgrading the bulb, I liked the bullet style of what I bought, but not so hot on it any more(as in don't care either way)... Suggestions requested...

I have a chrome Lindby engine guard on the bike and thought about adding driving lights to it. I already decided to paint it gloss black to kinda camouflage it a little... Maybe buy a set of lights and paint them black too??? Really like to just replace the main bulb with something brighter.

I know what you mean...haven't really been satisfied with the lighting on my glide ever.

I have a 1.5 million candle power spotlight that is so bright it will give you a freakin tan. It's an older model, and for some reason seems to outshine even the newer 2 or 3 million cp ones.
The damn thing is about 10" in diameter though.

..I been trying to think of a way to get it mounted in a small housing for an aux hi/beam.

could be dangerous though....if not by blinding someone, it may cook a deer in the road...lol...

for now I recommend these:

Check out the latest issue or American Iron. They install some "fog lamps" on Buzz's bike that mount to the crash bar. Kinda pricey at about 5 bills, but they look really nice.

I replaced the stock glass on my headlight with one made by Delta. It made a big improvement. I got it from JC Whitney.

I installed PIAA driving lights, 1100X Platinum to my engine guard, big improvement and you can run the wires inside the guard.

Believe it or not, these silver bullets from Kuryakyn throw A LOT of light on the road. I also went with the SilverStar Ultra bulb and light up the road like a christmas tree.

X2 on the Ultra Silverstar. Put that bulb in a 7" fatboy style housing, and I have no problems with light at night.
