dual disk 06 dyna superglide
so.... I got my vrod lowers back from Howard.. great work... went to put on my dual brembos... no worky on 04 (i guess) vrod wheel. I was told the wheel came off an 06 vrod... nope... 06 stock superglide caliper works but brembos dont... Do they make the larger rotors for the cast 06 superglide wheel / 04 vrod wheel. they look like they use the same rotors. I hate to sell these almost new Brembos I got .. and i wanted front and rear brembos... o well .. any help? dang .. i even got the rear brembo , all of them with Lyndell racing pads. this project is expensive... any help?

Just call me. You never asked me after you said there was a problem you were going to look at to make sure. I told you to measure the diameter. I have searched the internet and the specifications for your 2004 rotor is: Front (Dual) 11.5 in. x .20 in. (292.1 mm x 5.08 mm). You have 11 1/2" rotors. You need larger 300 mm rotors.
In order to make the set of forks I made you to work with new style Brembo calipers, you need only 300 mm rotors. You can do this by:
1) Buying new 300 mm rotors for 2006 ~ current only. Do not buy used rotors.
2) I can get you a new set of 300 mm from HD (Photo or right below)
3) go to your own HD and buy your own
4) buy new Brembo 300 mm rotors from me
5) get a conversion to a floating rotor for 300 mm rotors & your wheels (Photo on left) or replace
buy a new wheel and another rotor and bolt them up like this:
You see the wheels where they bolt up to. Your existing rotor will bolt up like this. Your existing Dyna rotor is 300 mm.
