I got my '10 Street Bob the other week.Couldn't be happier!I'll be going for the Short Shots as well as soon as I have the £££££'s.
As for the brakes,I nearly put my bike into the back of a truck about 1/4 hour after picking it up!Nearly s**t my pants! They're not so bad now that they've been broke in.
Take it easy

How do you like the sound of the short shots? a lot louder than stock?
Bike looks great!

I agree, wait until the 1000 ml servce, both the Dyna and Fat Boy brakes improved dramaticaly.

Congrats and enjoy your new ride...your post made me laugh regarding the brakes. When I took delivery and was leaving the dealer I didn't think the bike would stop coming up to a red light and the rear brakes felt like they didn't work at all, but after putting some miles on the bike, the brakes started working alot better.

Congrats again...

I am used to the sport bikes with very touchy brakes esp the front.

Other then the brake question, this thing handles much better than I thought it would and is a blast to ride! Now my (Harley Family will talk to me haha) But the Harley really feel natural to me. I guess that becuase i grew up on them but I am in love with this two wheeled machine!

I have already installed the V&H stag short shots, and 2 inch tank lift. I have a mustang 2 up seat for the old lady I just need some pegs. Pics are on there way.

PS- supprised with the power too, not to bad! graet bike!

Congratulations on your new Harley , you can't compare anything on a Harley to a Jap bike , they have alot of motor noise like it's going to fall apart , their brakes are lousy , they make all kinds of rattling noises, they shake all over, the front end is going to make a clunking sound sooner or later , they are not as smooth as a Jap bike, but they have just enough power to pull a wheel up and ride it if you know how to do it ! it goes on and on , but over all it's a pretty fun and reliable bike to own ! Good Luck !
