Mud,

I've got 2250miles on her since May 11th. I'm leaving early in the morning for a long trip to Arkansas. Me and a buddy are gonna ride up to Mena and then do the Talimena mountain ride. Hopefully I'll get some good pics to post when I get back.

Hey mud... I dig the masks on the top cabinet shelf behind your bike. very cool.
I do as well cziss.

I collect and make masks. I have many dozens of them. Oldest is from 1912.

Here is 2 pix of one I picked up just yesterday at a junk shop. $2.

Going to repaint this one, and use it as the head for a carved cane
(snakes and lizards and stuff) that I picked up in the same shop.

Last ones I made are 8 feet tall 5 foot wide. Installed them back to back on the RiverWalk in SATx.
Had to lift them up with a crane. Mayan style.

Some I make to sell are below. Shrunken Head keychain things.
Cast using a bowling ball type resin. Rainbow of colors is possible.

Okay enough with the statues and back to the topic! Just kid MUD, Nice stuff man!

Well, after pounding and pounding and applying WD40, and slowly turning mm by mm with a vise grip, and fuc*#$ scratching my freakin upper triple tree, hurting three of my fingers, and a hour and a half later, the stripped bolt finally came off. The funny thing was that this stripped bolt was like this before I even tried removing it. I don't why HD use a Torx on these things, instead of a Allen Hex type, which are stronger. Just a note also! After loosening the other three bolts a little, I went back to them to remove completely and two of them started to strip too, but luckily it wasn't as bad as the first one. Anyways, replace all four with new bolts, raised the forks only 3/4 of an inch. SO BE CAREFUL GUYS!!! I will eventually change to lowering kit in the future, but this is good for now. The pic with Jack Jr does not show the right angle to really tell if lower, but I definitely feel the front lower while riding, which should help out in the wind, no shaking and pretty stable. I am happy!
