Default AN Big Sucker Stage I or II

I've a 09 FXDC.
Got the python 2-1 exhaust.
Got the PCV
Going for AN Big Sucker for my Air Cleaner

Just checked their page and it says Arlen Ness BS stage I and stage II

Which one should I buy?

Has anyone used a stage II or can someone pls tell me if there is a major difference between the stage I and stage II

I think you want Stage 1..correct me if i am off-base here, but stage two would be for after you upgrade your engine itself.

I checked the AN page and it says stage I increases 19% HP and stage II increases 21%.
It also specifically says that stage II will not fit 103 Cu.In engine, so does this mean will it fit mine which has 96 Cu.In

I know more air can improve the performance but I think the stage II is BS, do you think you will notice 3%? More air means that the filter is less restrictive which to me means more dust and fine particles will get into your engine. Just my opinion.

I think a stage one should be more then enough. For a comparison, my GTO with 400 cubic inches ran strong on just the center carb and that had a K&N smaller then the Arlen Ness stage 1.

Stage 1

Stage 2

the AN big sucker kit made a quick big diff on my bike the stage I is plenty good enough remember the Horse power or torque will come from the map that you put on your PCV.
