Default Hey ya'll, watch this!

Tried to knock the baffles out of my SE slip ons...

Guess I could just slap them back on and lay on it...try to shoot it all out the @$$ end!

If anybody else feels like trying this do yourself a favor and spring for the oak. Poplar just doesn't get it done!

i took the baffles out of my stock fatbob exhaust and i had to drill the rivets out...i tried re-drilling the stock baffles but it sounded like a rattling lawn mower....so i am just running straight pipes with the intentions of purchasing a big city thunder baffle soon...

I'd hate to be behind you going down the road if that stuff decides to come flying out!

Ghost,

the Screamin' Eagle muffs have those annoying Torx Security screws, which I did remove. I crammed that block of wood in there and beat it for all I was worth for about 20 minutes. The baffle moved about 1/16th of an inch before the wood broke off!

Those slip-ons cost just shy of $400 and were only marginally louder than the stockers...I'm going to go order some proper Vance and Hines when my dealer opens up in about an hour!

So...if anyone is looking for some stock header pipes...and the lower Screamin' Eagle muff...let me know!

Still can't believe that $%#@*! thing broke off like it did. It was a freakin' 2x3!

Head over to your local hardware store and pick up a 1" or so auger bit. Should be able to get all that out of there in just a few minutes.
