I also tried to remove my stock baffles and no matter what I used in my garage it only moved about a 1/16 of an inch. I went to my brothers shop he had a piece of solid metal round bar about 1 inch round and 2 feet long. I stuck it in the header side of the slip on and hit the end of the bar that was sticking out on the ground a time or two and the baffle popped out.

wow i have seen people make parts for their bikes but never seen someone try to make their own baffles out of wood.

You really need to get one of the MOCO's new accessories to fix that problem you are having. As you can see in the pic it works wonders. However, if you install on your own it will void the warranty!!!! .... so be careful.

My dealer offers a 25% discount on all aftermarket exhaust parts. Happy surprise but the bill was still over $1000 after we added the SE Tuner and Stage 1 Kit...ouch!

I had a buddy help me take out my baffles... we used a jack hammer... yeah that worked.
might have been overkill
