Well I don't think he's a bitch for making a mistake, but I'm glad he's OK.

I was gonna be there one way or another - even if it was in the Jeep. Big props to my wife (Speedy) for being such a die-hard and insisting we go on the bike - even if there was a risk we'd end up sitting on the shoulder of 355 waiting for my nephew to come with a trailer.

Joe, sorry to hear about this man. Glad your ok. Tipped mine the other day turning in a parking lot, luckily I caught it and managed to get it back up. After I got over my adrenaline dump I looked down and my odometer had the word "TIP" on it. I had to laugh, almost like the bike was making fun of me....

I went down for the first time Sunday afternoon as well. My bike wasn't as lucky, sheet metal damage. Of course, I had my front tire clipped by a high school kid making a last second switch from right hand to left hand turn lane in an intersection. Good to know at least two guys went down with no injuries on the same day.

It's funny how when you go down in an embarrassing way it's always in front of loads of people. It happened to a mate of mine at a bike cafe a few weeks ago. He rode into the car park, saw somebody he knew and was so busy talking he forgot to put the stand down. No damage to his bike but he hurt his knee trying to hold it up.

Glad you're OK.
