Have run the Mobil-1 20/50 clear down to 35 degrees. Garage is not that cold however, and the bike is always garaged. Vibrates a bit more, and probably should run a thinner oil for those temps..... but at 55... no sweat... 20/50.

 

15w40 diesel oil is as low as you ever need to go. A 10w is too thin.
