04 Lowrider not running right
Something is wrong with my bike...
A few days ago I went to go for a short ride and didn't make it 100 yards without the bike feeling like it was missing. Turned around and didn't have time to get into it right away. Next morning I change the plugs and the wires. Front plug was fouled. For an extra $10 I figured I'd change the wires too.
Ran it for about 5 miles and it was 95% better. Felt like it was going to miss once or twice then it corrected itself. If I hadn't been paying so close of attention I would have thought it was my hand loosening up on the throttle.
Today I took it to a buddy who knows more than I do and it ran just fine for him. I then put 15 miles on it and it ran great.
Just now I took it out for about 30 miles stopping once in the middle at a store. Ran great. I then stopped a few miles from home at my last stop and after starting it when I was ready to leave it's running like **** again. I pulled the brand new plugs and they are white tipped. None of the plugs I've pulled out in the past have been white at all. I have Rhinehart slip-on's and have had them for 2 years without issue. No download, no map and no fuelpak.
Right now it will start up. -- hesitates just a little but still starts -- Then when you give it gas, some of the time it is just fine, others it's like your not even twisting the thottle. It feels like its starving for gas. -- Also when it feels like it's starving, the check engine light comes on. Once it gets gas, it goes right back off.
I've heard and read of the plastic hose inside the gas tank going bad. I've also heard the same with the voltage regulator. -- I've checked the battery cables and they are fine.
Any idea's out there? Thanks!

I've found that it's P0122 TP Sensor Open/Low EFI
Mechanic I am not, but judging by your 2 comments, I think they go hand-in-hand. I'd run the above info past a service tech and get a quote for the throttle position sensor replacement.
