Dyna07custom......... btw sweet ride. Love the look of your gloss black pearl and chrome. The others that are all blacked out, or are matte black with no chrome are boring IMO. Gotta have that bling, and yours sure does. NICE.

Around here (Seattle/Tacoma) you're not usually very far from gas. Even when my LED's aren't fully functional, my low fuel warning icon (speedometer) is consistent, so it's my last line of defense. When it comes on, I know I'm down to about 40 miles left...plenty of range to find gas out here.

I have this item on my wish list. After reading these post, I might have to rethink it.

Have had them on my 09 for about 6 months now no issues yet??

I'd PREFER if it was an analog gauge instead of LED. I just like the flush look; that, combined with the badgeless sides, make for one smooooooooooooth looking tank, which was the goal.

Patrick,

Your low fuel light in the speedo still work with the smooth LED fuel gauge? I have the six shooter and the fuel light in the speedo no longer works. My leds go from blue then the last one turns red... And when real low (about 40 miles left) it begins to flash.

Yes; low fuel warning lite on speedo works normally. Our flush-mount LED gauges don't have the red "last LED" that flashes when approaching empty. Our's just drop out from blue to "chrome" one-by-one. When my 2nd-to-last LED drops out, my speedo icon usually comes on within a mile or two (pretty consistent). I liked the idea of the red LED that starts flashing (with the non-flush gauges), but I wouldn't wanna lose my speedo icon to get it.
