Default Street Bob Pipes Options

Hello all!

I was wondering if you could share we us what pipes you put on your SB, if you have by any chance recorded a sample of the sound it produces on youtube (:-)), and if you have a part number, a price reference too that would be extremely helpful.

I looked on Youtube but I did not find exactly what I am looking for. Maybe the V&H Shortshots or Rinehart slip ons.

I am looking for a deep Harley sound for this big V-Twin.

Thanks a lot for any name, sound sample, pictures also you would have!

Voony.

Here are Youtube links of pipes I like:

You cant go off those video clips...

I'm telling you my Vance and Hines Slip ons are pretty loud. I did a before video and after and they sound the same in both, but in person they're
very nice sounding. Not obnoxious, but good.

I know videos don't do justice.

How much did you guys pay for those pipes and the baffles and everything that comes with it?

I got a set of bub7 (reinhart makers) for 439$ on steal-bay. they sound really deep and rich, are quite loud when crrrracccked open ( **** I scare people sometimes! ;-0),however the other morning I came to a red light just beside a police car with the window open @6:30 am and they never said boo! I took off nice and quiet and left them there when the light turned!

I have the SEII's and BCT baffles like the first video you showed/linked.

My bike sounds NOTHING like that video and of course, as you said...you can't even judge off of youtube.

Like many will say, go to a bike night or hang out at a dealer where there is lots of traffic and listen in person. This will be the best way to decide of the sound/volume is right.

I listened to all the videos I could. I took a leap of faith with everyone praising the BCT baffles and couldn't be happier. In fact, my father has the V&H with the quiet baffles and we both always liked his pipes and sound. He is now putting BCT baffles in his after hearing and riding with me. They are pretty loud, but sure sound DEEP.

Thanks for this comment. Because I am a noob in mechanic...what is exactly a baffle? And what role does it have into the pipe?

And how do you call like the complete pipe not only the slip ons? I am pretty sure that the difference between slip ons and complete pipes (I'm sorry I don't know how to call em) is big isn't it?
