That's got to be the best way to get the "UGLY" off the back of the Street Bob rear fender. Thanks for posting the details. I'm going to fix mine as soon as I get it back from the shop (1,000 mile warranty service).

This L bracket I used to mount it is very thick and made the mount itself very sturdy.

This goes to both: Its not hard at all. I actually fabbed up another mount, just to see how it looked, but as Slipstrm stated I was afraid I was going to lose it, it was going to break, fall off or something.
