Default Reflector Removal

I know it's been discussed before .... what's the best way to ditch the reflectors on my Fat Bob? Hair dryer? Solvent?

I just pulled mine off by hand and used some Goo Gone to remove any residue left.

searching the forum is always a good start. I used fishing line and wd40 to slowly remove the reflectors from my downtubes. The wd40 works strictly as a lubricant while you slowly use the fishing line as a cable saw to cut the adhesive.

I'm with Bberck. They can easily be pulled off by hand in most cases. Just use some cleaner to take off the goo.

I used a Hair dryer and fishing line. Just heat it up and the fishing line or Dental flosh will do the rest.

What I did,

1: Hair Dryer for a few minutes
2: Pull with hands
3: Clean up left over goo with WD-40

Cheers,

Tom

Goo Gone and some fishing line.............pain in the azz though - took way longer than I expected. Whatever that adhesive is they should use it instead of nuts and bolts....it would stay on longer
