HD Part# 51161-10 One-piece detachable siss bar upright -gloss black. page 146 of your 2010 P&A catalogue. What else do I need to put this thing on my bike? Goddamn thing says I need a docking hardware kit but doesn't bother to tell me which one, and there is no corresponding information anywhere else. Help?

Take a look at this http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US . I did non detach side plates on mine so not 100% sure this is what you need.

 

what you also need is the brackets to either mount it rigid or detachable to the bike. If you go detachable, you'll also need the mounting hardware.
