I have the same dilemma to look forward to when I do my pipe swap this winter. I got me a set of Hooker Troublemakers for the same model years ('01-'05 I believe) and I have an '07 Low Rider. From all info gathered so far me having the PCV and the O2 eliminators negates that problem. My only other issue is supposed to be that I may have to grind down the pipe mount so that it mounts properly. I'll know a lil more when I get ready for the install and start asking those that have down the install some questions. But to answer your question....yes, it is possible and a hell of a deal. You'll want to get the PCV, if you dont have it already anyways so that you can map your bike yourself and get it to run less lean than it is now. Go for it.
