Hi,

I won a sundowner solo with passenger pillion and Bib on ebay (supposedly new)... I got it without any instructions or extra screws etc...

If someone has this seat, I desperately need to know how to install the solo rider and Bib... appreciate the help.

The solo has the front metal which tucks into the fuel tank but I cant figure out how to pin it from the back. Same with the Bib, I can screw the back part using the standard screw that is used for the stock seat but I dont have a screw for the front of the bib...

Quick help is highly appreciated.

 

My guess is you are missing the front fender nut that holds a solo seat in place. If you are going to keep the bib you will need to run to a dealer and ask for a seat nut. There should be a plastic cap toward the front of the rear fender near where the solo seat should be screwed in place. Pull the plastic cap and pull the seat nut up through the fender and install the plastic c-clip to keep it in place. If you put the seat nut on a zip tie and feed that through the hole you can pull the nut in place.

Just guessing here as you have a Custom that comes with a two up seat

 

YOU WILL NEED THE SEAT NUT AND BOLT. ONE BOLT TO HOLD SEAT ON THE OTHER TO HOLD THE BIB ON.
