I've been planning my build for a while now. I looked at the Head Designs by Dewey page mostly because they are in the state I live in. Looking at the Dyno pages I came across this build and it really got my attention.....

Looks like it could be fun!

Don Dorfman (Head Designs by Dewey) did my heads and my bike runs great. I run the 37s. I would suggest just waiting and doing your build all at once especially if you're not doing the labor. If you are going to do it yourself, then maybe do it in 2 stages. If you plan on doing your heads, ask the head porter what he recommends. Deweys heads work great. Ask me how I know

I'm running the 54H and, after seeing the spring rates myself, would suggest new springs for any cam change.
Insurance.

Where do you think I got the idea to look at Deweys?? I plan to do it all at once. Figured on making it a winter project, I could run the heads over and drop them off. Good reason to hit the big city and have some fun.

for the 96" the 37H is a great choice, if you go to to 103" the 54" with a new head gasket to increase compression (and/or headwork) is a better choice.

I've had the 37 in my 95, very nice broad torque , does not like high compression , stay under 10:1 and it's sweet.

The 255 which I run in my 103" is good for torque but due to the lack of overlap runs hot, the 54 is a better choice IMHO.
