I initially wanted to put the HD set on my 03 LowRider but, in all honesty, thought they looked pretty crappy.

I ordered the Kuryakyn 9063 set for the same price and while they look tons better I had trouble with the Kury shifter spline. It would not fit my stock shifter though Kury said it should and my own dealer could not even get it to fit. I ordered a Kury girder shifter and that does not fit either.

Kury is sending me a new spline.............great looking parts but pretty shitty that a new set of goodies won't work right.

Thanks for the photos, HogRida. That short lever doesn't bother me. There are things that can be done to it. Anyway, the wife gave permission to do the sale, so...I'm in!

You just gotta love this forum. Answers for everything. I just wish I found it before I bought my bike. Trial and error sucks...

HOGRIDA_06 most people around here do it like you did and they take a small piece of aluminum to fab a brace that you can attach to the motor bolt about 2 inches in front of the the old shifter looks better than just a shifter rod sticking up plus it wont move causing rattle

thought you might wanna try that

nice job though
