Not trying to make a big deal of it really. Former manufacturing experience with belts & pulleys, wasn't making sense with what I was seeing and what HD specs say. Perhaps not applicable in this instance.

I put 295 miles on it yesterday without any problems. Nice ride by the way.

My thinking... considering that the contact patch of tire on the road isn't very large, I didn't feel like 1/8" difference is going to make that much of an impact.

However, just for curiosity sake, I will be loosening things up and get the axle lined to HD specs and see if there are any problems with the belt tracking.
