If I could just find my Prozac....
It's all my fault! Posted a thread recently thinking I was done with mods, NOT! My new C&C seat raised my position enough that I can no longer flat foot, I am a short ****. Have searched here and any where I can think. Was considering going to a 11" Progressive shock but their customer service said without lowering the front it will turn wider particularity at slow speeds and ride quite a bit stiffer. Not real interested in either. MOCO lowering shock will drop the seat height a whole 1/4", not enough.
Did I mention that like most folks $$ is tight. I need to drop 1" so I am thinking (that's where the problems usually begin) I need a 11 1/2" shock but cannot afford the Progressive's $450. Ther must be other good after market shocks but cannot seem to find them. Most everyone here seems to be using Progressives.
You guys always bail me out!
aha found the Prozac... think I take 2.

Welcome to the club, I've been done modifying my bike several times already, then another idea comes into my head.
If your looking for a little lower and softer ride, you can go with the Harley Davidson Street Glide air shocks, also know as Low Profile shocks. They are 12" shocks like the original Low Rider shocks but sit a little lower with your weight on them. New take offs can be found on eBay fairly cheap, just make sure they are the 12" and not the 13". A Screamin Eagle 180 tire also will lower your seat height a bit, and a pair of boots might also help.
