Is it possible to put a solo seat in place of a 2-up seat that came with my Super Glide?

I kinda like the streamlined looks that some bikes have.

Will the rear fender stick up too high without the passenger seat?

I don't see any problems. The fxdi and bobs have stock solo seats. Before you invest, dismount your exixting seat to check hardware and the possibility of any scratches. I have a corbin solo classic and it is a nice saddle

 

Any pics of a Super Glide, Super Glide Custom with a solo seat? Specifically, NOT a bob, or a low rider.

I love the look of the low rider, but am concerned that without lowering the back end, the seat may look strange.

I ride 1 up almost exclusively and would highly recommend a solo saddle for the comfort and the looks of the bike. Here are a couple of pics of my Superglide, one with a custom solo from BAR Enterprises and the second with a stock Vintage Solo from Mustang. Either is light years ahead of the stock 2-up for comfort and looks.

I have a 2006 FXDI (Dyna Super Glide" that came stock with the solo seat. I love the look!

That's a HD solo seat I presume. I dig it.

I'm assuming you put the luggage rack on afterwards? Is that detachable?
