Yep it does. More control and less looking like your sitting on a lazy boy recliner while your riding. It's not for everyone but it sure as hell looks cool.

I know I jumped on this thread about pro tapers on a dyna, but I brought it back from the dead for other reasons. When I googled Pro Tapers on Harley, this is what I got. I am actually building a 76 ironhead sportster hardtail with suicide clutch and jockey shifter. Nothing about this bike is going to be "Comfortable". This is for riding around the neighbor looking cool. I will jump on the heritage springer or the police bike if I plan on riding more than 10 feet.

ive actually thought about putting bars like that on my bike but i dont think it would work out for me...

Well these are 7/8" bars so they aren't for the faint at heart. I am doing no clutch handle on the bars (foot clutch), no buttons or switches on the bike at all (Keyed ignition with off/on/start), and a remote mounted front master cylinder. So my bars with have 2 grips and 1 lever.

I think I'm going to get the super bars "high". Those might be the bars i've been looking for for a long time.
