Default Stator failure HD customer service (414) 343-4056 press 4
Harley-Davidson customer service (414) 343-4056
Complain to them, will give you Tech Serv reference#, take to dealer, if stator came apart, have them call HDCS with ref #. might get fix for free.

Coming to pick my bike this Saturday, will let you know how it turns out.

If your 06 Stator haven't fail, do yourself a favor and at least tig weld 8 screws in place.

If you are going to all the trouble to get to it to tig weld it...you might as well replace it.

It's no trouble, come winter it will be more of just something to do. And TIG welding is free. Well, plus a couple of gaskets. Money is so tight right now I'm just lucky to still have the bike.
