Default tank lift / new emblem alignment help....

i juts did a tank lift and was wondering if I should put new badges on the tank level with the tank or with the ground?

Just my opinion but I think it might look kinda weird if you put them level with the ground. I'd think that would put them at an odd angle with the tank itself. Maybe use some double side tape to put them on temporarily so you can stand back and look at. Or even post some pics for people to make amore informed decision. I lined my emblems up with the tank when I installed teh tank lift. There's a pic in my album.

I had the same decision to make and went with leveling them with the tank. It kind of gives away the tank lift a little bit but I was okay with that. Actually, I guess leveling them with the ground would give it away as well. Anyway, I decided to level with the tank and I'm glad I did.

i just left mine were they were at i think it looks good and no one ever says "hey your tank badges are crooked." or anything of the sort.

Thanks for the info. I thought following the tank would be the best but for once I thought I would ask first.

I bough the ones that come on a new night train. I do like the clean look so ill se when I ge them if they would look better on or off. Thanks
