You can have a look at that pic or check a few more pic in my profile.

The only bars I could ever imagine to have to replace them would be with some outlaw T-bars.

hope it helps
j.

What size are those slammers?
6 or 8 inch rise?
Thanks

SwissBob, what tripple trees did you end up going with?
I am pretty sure that 09 SB also has risers integrated into top tripple tree!

Yea, it sucks that the newer Street Bobs have the integrated risers...I'm plannin' to put some satin black flat track bars with the 2" risers from Loner Industries just to see how it turns out.

Yes I had to change the triple tree.. in fact the upper triple clamp (45538-08).

The worst part is that the triple tree is actually more expensive than the bars....

He's looking to go to apes, I think more of a comfort thing for him but the SS bars look sick on his bike. I used to think I wanted a set, but I've grown to love my apes, and in fact want some taller ones.
I post every once in a while....

Here's my 06 with SS on it. I love them. We rode 2500 miles last summer and I was comfy the whole way. I am wanting to go to some big nasty tall black apes but not for comfort... In fact comfort is probably the only real thing holdng me back from doing it, and money I guess. I've just grown to like the looks of apes over the last couple years, but I've also rode my buddy's nighttrain with 18 inch gimps and was a lil unsire about them after 40 miles... just something ya gotta get used to I imagine .

Here's a pic of mine..
