RE: 8 Degree or 25 Degree injector how to tell?
I just checked mine last night and found that I have the 8'. Standing at the left side of the bike, looking under the seat between the two heads you will find the injectors. It's hard to see, may need a flashlight. You should be able to read the part number.... if the part number is 27625-06 you have the 8' injector. If it is 27709-06 or 27709-06A you have the 25'.

look behind the horn on the inside of the heads. they are two (one going into each head) plastic things that look like sensors screwed into each head. they have white numbers on them. you will need a flashlite though, hard to see back up in there.

RE: 8 Degree or 25 Degree injector how to tell?
Turned out mine had the 8's. Took it to the dealer last saturday and had the 25's put in. They didnt hassle me at all they took it right in and did it. I was amazed, I went to the local dealer who I didnt buy the bike from and they wanted to keep it and test the flow on them among other things. It does run a lot better now. Before it died on me a couple times and had a cough when i gassed it sometimes. I havent had a problem with it so far. So if you have the 8's definally take it in and have it done its under warranty buy you might have to push it. If you need the service advisary someone on here gave it to me look it up on the search and take it with you. The local dealer pretended that they didnt know until I handed them the papers and magically they knew what was going on.

The 25's have 25DEG in white letters on the side along with the part numbers. Look behing the horn with a flashlight and you will see them.
BTW.......it's worth having it done. My dealer didn't say a word. I told them about the hot & cold stall issue and they replaced them with no issue. My dealer is #1

RE: 8 Degree or 25 Degree injector how to tell?
Finally found the injectors lst night and they're 8.
Cold and damp, started the bike and it started hard. Called the local dealer (not the one I where I bough the bike) and talked to the Service Manager. At that point they didn't know the bike wasn't purchased there. Told them it was a '06 Low Rider with SE Slipons, HD Download and Stage 1, all dealer installed, and experiencing hard starting in cold weather and stalling. Service Mgr said it's probably the exhaust but bring it in and they'll have a look. I asked if there was any Tech Bulletin for the '06 Dyna injectors. The service Mgr said no, it's probably the exhaust. I told him I had the 8 injectors, and he replied that those are fine. Didn't take him to task on the Tech Bulletin because I knew there was no way I'd let that dealership touch my bike.
Dealership is Yankee HD in Connecticut.
Then called the dealership where I bought the bike (TSI in Ellington Connecticut). Told him the symptoms. Service guy said there was an issue with some injectors, and it all depended on what I had. Told him they were 8, and he said "Tell me when you want to bring it in, and I'll have the replacement injectors here."
That's what I call service!!! Bike is going in later this month!!!
