Softail boards on Street Bob
I thought that a different thread was needed for the boards since many here seems to be interested in running boards for the Dyna.
The boards are early style Softail. Upto '99. The brake side mounting holes are long because it was made first and needed to be forward further to match the shifter side. The shifter side had to clear the primary. The boards are a little forward and a little higher by using the custom brackets.
The brake line I used is also early softail style and only took slight bending at the ends to fit. I made a bracket to mount the line to the frame where the original master cylinder was. I don't have pictures of that yet.
More pictures of my project are in my Photo Album.
