Does anyone know how wide of a tire will fit on a 02 FXDX? I have a 140/90/16 venom on it now.

without mods -150/80/16 "IF" you want to go to a Metzeler 160/70/17 an early deuce wheel (17x4.5) will go right on! SEE MY PIC!

Thanks. I was hoping to stuff a 150 in there. It looks close to the belt so I figured I'd check.

I got a 150 Avon Venom under the fender of my '00 FXDL but I previously converted from a belt to a chain. With the belt I think a 140 is probably the widest you can fit.

I just noticed the J&P catalog lists the dunplop 150 / 80 /16 as OEM. I wonder why the guy who owned it before me put a 140 on it?

Got a 160/60ZR18 Bridgestone 021 on my '01. It's filling but nothing touches, even two up loaded for touring.....it's on a 4.25X18 rim.

I'm going to go with a Venom again, 150/80/16.

Thanks for the help.
