I have not seen a Vivid Black Lo, but the Denim Lo I saw had brushed chrome engine parts. Bright Chrome would have looked horrible on it....so this one had a set of Vance & Hines matte black Big Radius pipes and it looked excellent. Actually,I didn't care for the look of both the brushed chrome AND bright chrome being mixed on the Denim. It just didn't look right IMHO

Sorry. Based on your post it sounded like you were trading in your Low Rider for the Fat Boy, hence my crack about needing Vasoline.

Hope you enjoy the new bike, but I bet if you sat on the new Wide Glide you'd find it sits just as low as your Low Rider did:

2010 Wide Glide: 26.7" seat height.
2009 Low Rider: 26.8" seat height.

I took the Fatboy Lo on a test ride - 'I' didn't care for it. Have you taken one for a ride?
Going from the rubber mounted motor to the counter-balanced motor - I could hear the counter-balancer. And where the hell is the shake at idle???

I saw the denim one and thought it was not good-looking. Just looked up the vivid black and not much better.

Sure you wouldn't like a new Wideglide instead?!
